Surveyor cum Assistant Draughtsman - 98 Posts - Basic Pay 5200 Grade Pay 2400 in Pay Band I category - Draughtsmanship (Civil) Course from Ministry of Labour or Certificate course in Army Draughtsman (Field) from Technical Testing Board Madras Engineering Group or Certificate course in Draughtsman (Civil) from Craftsman Training Centre or National Trade Certificate (NTC) of Draughtsman (Civil) Trade or Surveyor Trade Certificate / ITI Trade Certificate - Age 30 years for UR ; 35 years for all others and Destitute Widow of all communities. 


General Instructions :
Apply through online application registration method.
Age relaxations are applicable as per government of Tamilnadu norms.
NOC is compulsory for departments applicants (even if they are in temporary position).

Selection by written test and interview.
Application Fee Rs.300
Fee can be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favour of 

"Director of Town and Country Planning" payable at "Chennai"

Examination Pattern :
ITI surveyor syllabus or ITI Draughtsman Civil Syllabus - 60 marks (90 minutes)
Civil Drawing skill test 25 marks (30 minutes)
Personal interview 15 marks
Questions will be in Tamil and English.
Minimum marks required to qualify written test is 15.
