Educational Qualification:

Candidates who have completed MBBS Degree or equivalent from a recognized Institute are Eligible to apply MRB Tamil Nadu Recruitment 2018
i. Must be a registered practitioner within the meaning of the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
 ii. Must have served as House Surgeon (CRRI) for a period of not less than twelve months.
iii. Candidates should have registered their name in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before the date of this Notification. iv. If a candidate claims that the educational qualification possessed by him/her is equivalent though not the same as those prescribed for the appointment, the onus of proof rests with the candidate.
v. Candidate on the date of the Board’s Notification for the post should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil. Candidates who do not possess an adequate knowledge in Tamil may also apply. If selected, they should pass the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil within a period of two years from the date of their appointment, failing which they will be discharged from service

Educational Qualification: 

A Degree (Any Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online. Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

Educational Qualification:

Professor -
An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology -mediated teaching learning process. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator(API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulation. OR An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Associate Professor -
Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. A Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ College or accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology -mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulation

Assistant Professor -
Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET (OR) Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) as per UGC Regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted

Pay Scale
(a) Professor - Rs. 37400 - 67000 + AGP Rs.10000/-
(b) Associate Professor - Rs. 37400 - 67000 + AGP Rs. 9000/-
(c) Assistant Professor - Rs. 15600 - 39100 + AGP Rs. 6000/-
